Here’s what your assistance will make possible in 2027: we’ll host two high-impact events—an April Search & Rescue Symposium for first responders and an October Water Safety Symposium for the boating public—each capped at 85 attendees and budgeted at about $5,000. We’ll also keep FloridaSAR.com humming with practical training content, interviews, and articles (about $1,500 in annual operating/equipment costs). Most importantly, we aim to fund Boat Operations Search and Rescue (BOSAR) training through the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) for 20 first responders at $1,200 per student. This training gives teams the skills they need to operate efficiently, and execute life-saving SAR missions across our coastal communities. Every dollar moves these goals from plan to action—thank you for helping us save lives and strengthen readiness statewide.
